The Importance of Fire Safety

Fire safety principles are based on three things awareness, preparation, and prevention. Every individual preferably should be educated on the manner in which fires can ignite, spread and be controlled. There are various causes to fires including faulty wiring, flames, reactions with dangerous chemicals or even unattended stove pots. Such dangers are more common in factories or businesses where there are combustible products and equipment. All these aspects of and fire safety management are equally important with the aim of early detection, control and damage limiting action.

Our extensive fire safety training programs encompass the strategies of hazard prevention and risk control of fire in all its dimensions; the maximization of the safe use of non-combustible materials through regular monitoring, maintenance of equipment, and cleanliness. The learners learn to recognize dangerous situations and know how to suppress flames before they become a full-blown fire.

A fire situation presents challenges that require extra attention to the disabled, old or physically challenged persons. The course presents practical methods of evacuating any such individuals with the aid of rescue chairs, and other apparatus used for stairway evacuation and so on.
